The required poster size is DIN A0 (841mm width x 1189mm height) in portrait format. The posters need to be printed by the author, as we do not provide an on-site printing service.
Your poster ID (Pxxx) as well as the session in which you will be presenting your poster have been sent to you via email. Please remember to put up and take down your posters independently on the day of your presentation.
As the posters are organised by topic and judged by many dedicated committee members, we cannot change the date for your poster presentation. We hope you understand that the logistical organisation of abstracts/posters is a demanding task and that it is not possible to make adjustments for personal preferences.
Procedure of the poster session
The abstracts will be presented in three poster sessions. All poster presenters are asked to be at their poster during the 1.5 hour session. Young scientists are asked to present their poster to two judges for the poster award competition. Please present your work in max. three minutes, after which the judges will ask questions. The poster prize winners will be announced during the closing ceremony on Wednesday.
Please prepare your presentation as a 16:9 PowerPoint presentation. You can upload your presentation at our media centre on-site. Our team will guide you through the process. On special request the use of your on device may be possible after consulting our staff.
Every lecture hall will have a lecturn, microphone and a pointer for you to use. We have technical support staff in every room, in case of technical difficulties.
Please prepare your presentation in such a way that the speaking times provided for this purpose, which can be found in the detailed program, are adhered to. The chairpersons are requested to intervene in case of time overruns. The following speaking times are scheduled in the scientific program:
